I started working with WordPress around 2004, back when blogs were simple, SEO was everything, and AdSense was the dream for every student trying to make a little money online. I was one of them, learning everything on my own, building small sites, and experimenting with what worked.

By 2006, I was active in SEO forums like DigitalPoint, where I spent countless hours learning about backlinks, directories, and on-page optimization. That era shaped how I looked at websites and performance. When Google changed the game in 2007 and wiped out many directory-based sites, I lost most of what I had built. It was a tough time, but it also pushed me to focus on something more solid such as technical knowledge and real-world skills.

Between 2008 and 2013, I shifted my attention toward servers, Linux, and optimization. I worked as a network and server administrator, learning the backend side of how websites actually run. That experience changed everything. I began to see how hosting, caching, and database tuning directly affected a site’s performance.

In 2011, I took a remote role with a small hosting company in the US. It wasn’t glamorous, but it gave me something priceless: exposure to hundreds of real websites and their problems. Many of them were built on WordPress, and I became the go-to person for clients facing slow sites, broken themes, or hosting bottlenecks. I saw firsthand how much potential WordPress had when used right, and how often it was held back by poor setups and bloated themes.

From 2014 onward, as I continued working in hosting, I began helping friends and small businesses with their WordPress sites. Many used popular themes like Astra, Avada, Betheme, Enfold, Divi, JNews, NewsPaper, Porto, and others. They looked great but were heavy and difficult to optimize. It made me realize that a website that tries to do everything rarely does anything perfectly.

I started experimenting with cleaner frameworks like Underscores, Beaver Builder, and Elementor. These tools let me build faster and more stable sites for my small pool of clients. Over time, I found myself managing high-traffic news and agency sites, balancing client work alongside my full-time technical role.

Years of working behind the scenes in hosting gave me a unique perspective. I had seen how many agencies overcomplicated simple things, how performance was often ignored, and how clients paid for setups that were not truly optimized.

By 2022, building WordPress sites with older builders had started to feel repetitive. It was becoming less creative and more about fighting limitations. Around that time, I came across Bricks Builder. It was modern, performance-focused, and built around clean structure. Working with it felt refreshing again, and it reignited my interest in creating something of my own. For the first time, starting a developer-led WordPress agency seemed both realistic and exciting.

In 2023, I made a decision. Instead of quietly fixing other people’s sites, I would build something better: a WordPress agency that combines technical expertise, performance optimization, and genuine care for clients. It took almost two years of planning, assembling the right team, and refining processes before I was ready to launch. Today, that effort has become WPFellow.

WPFellow was created to bring together everything I have learned over the past two decades: SEO, hosting, optimization, and WordPress development. The goal was to create a place where clients can get complete, reliable solutions for their websites.

We are not a one-person operation. Over the past three years, I have built a small, dedicated team that shares the same values of simplicity, performance, and trust. We chose the name WPFellow because we believe in true partnership. We’re here to be the technical expert in your corner, ensuring your website works as hard as you do.

Our mission is straightforward: deliver WordPress solutions that combine technical depth with genuine care. No bloat, no shortcuts, no cookie-cutter templates. Just fast, secure, well-built websites backed by a team that understands both the code and the business behind it.
